The Cactus Theater, on Buddy Holly Avenue just north of 19th Street, was originally constructed in 1938 as a "second run" motion picture theater.
It closed in 1958, but was reopened in 1993 by Don and Terri Caldwell as a live entertainment venue in Lubbock’s Depot District.
