The latest move along the line is the building contemplated for the early part of the year by the First National Bank. They now have the plans and specifications for a modern three story brick building that will be a credit to a much larger city than the present Lubbock, but of course they recognize the future of the town and country and are building accordingly.
This building will prove a great help in more than one way. The Lubbock Drug Company will occupy a part of the ground space facing east and there will also be a place for a store to the rear facing west on north First Street. The second story of the building will be made into offices, which will be taken early, and the third floor will be occupied by some of the lodges.
One of the most pleasing features of the building, aside from its substantiality, is found in the beauty of the designs. It will be modern in every respect.
