Passenger train due; will help with mail delivery
1910 Effective Sunday, January Eleventh, Lubbock will have a through-passenger train service. The time will be so arranged that the northbound train will connect with the train east over the Denver road. This is one of the conveniences that Lubbock people have longed for and will prove a great attraction to those who are contemplating a trip to this place.
As soon as arrangement can be made for carrying the mail, it will mean a day's saving in this matter also.
As it now stands, the mail routed to Lubbock has to stay over in Plainview all night and this makes it a day late in getting to this town.
In connection with the passenger service, there will also be a local freight.
